Biographical Resume of the Consul
Our Honorary Consulate-General commenced operation in Istanbul in March 2002 with jurisdiction throughout Istanbul and enviroment. H.E. Dr. Kenan Magripli attended the University of Vienna, where he studied political science and graduated it with honors in 1972 and recieved Phd. in International Law. He then attended the Tourism Business School and completed it with the degree “Master of Tourism Management (M.T.M.)”. He began his Tourism business activities early on, during his years at university he was encouraging foreign tour operators to come to Turkey.
Today his activities extend to a wide range of industries including tourism, hotel management and investment. Dr.Magripli is recognised for his leadership role, a “Doyen” in Turkish Tourism&Travel Industry.
