There are two types of Single Entry Visa

  • Single Entry Visa for 10 Days (allows 10 days stay in Oman)
  • Single Entry Visa for 30 Days (allows 30 days stay in Oman, can be extended during the stay in Oman and only for one time for additonal 30 days)

Turkish and citizens mentioned in the above list have two options to apply for Single Entry Visit Visas:

  1. Turkish citizens are permitted to enter the Sultanate of Oman without a pre-obtained Single Entry Visa. A Single Entry Visa will be granted by the Royal Omani Police upon arrival at any Omani port (air, land and sea).
  2. Turkish & citizens of the countries listed above (Number 1 List) can obtain a Single Entry Visa also from the Consulate General of the Sultanate of Oman in Istanbul.

Documents required for the application:

  • An original passport valid for at least seven months.
  • Copy of identy card.
  • Photocopy of Turkish ID (For foreign nationals: a letter including mother & father names and marital status information).
  • Two passport size photos (6×4 cm) with white back ground are required.
  • A Letter of intention including following details: Detail of your Professional career, mobile telephone number, e-mail address, Marital Status, Mother & Father’s name.
  • The applicant must have a valid hotel reservation in Oman and a round-trip flight ticket to and from Oman.
  • The visa fee can be paid in cash to the Consulate.
  • Please note: It may take an average of 7 (seven) days to receive the visa approval from ROP (Royal Oman Police).
  • Visa must be used for entry to Oman within 1 (one) Month of approval. The visa is valid for a single entry, and the maximum duration of stay in the country is either 10 or 30 days, depending on the specifics of your visa application.

Important Notes

  • The Passport and Foreigners Police reserve the right to reject visa applications without providing any reasons.
  • The visa application fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, regardless of the conditions for rejection.
  • Upon entry into Oman, your passport must have a validity period of at least 6 months.
  • Visa Validity Period: You must enter the country within 1 (one) month from the issuance date of your visa; otherwise, your visa will expire. The maximum duration of stay in the Sultanate of Oman is 10 or 30 days, depending on the specifics of your application.
  • In case you exceed the maximum duration of stay specified in your visa, you will be required to pay a penalty of 10 OMR (30 USD) for each day.
  • If you have a 10-day Single-Entry Tourist visa, you do not have the right to extend your stay in Oman.
  • If you have a 30-day Single-Entry Tourist visa, you can extend your visa for a one-time period of 30 days if deemed appropriate by the competent authorities in the Sultanate of Oman, in case of necessity.
  • The visa you obtain during your stay in Oman does not grant the right or permission to work under any circumstances and cannot be converted into a work/employment visa. A work permit is subject to separate conditions and provisions.
  • Applicants must adhere to the laws applicable in Oman upon entry; otherwise, they may be subject to legal investigation.
  • According to Article 16 of the Foreigners Regulation: Obtaining a valid entry visa does not necessarily imply acceptance of your entry into the Sultanate of Oman. The Passport and Foreigners Police reserve the right to reject your entry into the country without providing any reasons for the public interest.
